Safety Program
Mashuda Contractors, Inc. maintains a strong commitment to the safety of all employees; and providing and maintaining a safe and productive worksite for employees and the general public alike.
To that goal, Duane Prachel, Safety Director, keeps abreast of all current safety issues, OSHA regulations and MSHA regulations, and keeps all personnel updated on these issues.
Job-site safety meetings are held on a regular basis during the working season, and cover general issues as well as very specific-to-the-job issues. All employees are required to attend and input is strongly encouraged.
Each spring, a Supervisor meeting is held at the Corporate office in Princeton where an entire day is devoted to safety training, including Red Cross First Aid Training for all supervisors and mechanics.
This focus truly makes a difference, and our worker's compensation modifier rating reflects our overall commitment to safety.
In addition to the safety training held at the Corporate Headquarters, Mashuda Contractors works closely with the Wisconsin Operating Engineers Training Center to inform and provide training to all employees; ensuring that each operator is knowledgeable and safe in the following areas:
